Miley Cyrus at COSMOPOLITAN'S Photos. Miley Cyrus is speaking out against her haters ... again.
The 20-year-old superstar opens up to Cosmopolitan's December issue, admitting that she sees herself as "kind of an underdog.
Everything is so chaotic and crazy right now and it’s so much all at once, but I’m living for it. I'm just having the best time ever and everything’s falling into place like it’s supposed to," Cyrus tells the magazine. "Even people who want to hate on me, they can’t even shut down the fact that I’m literally what everyone is talking about.
I don’t want to say that I’m on top right now I feel like I’m kind of an underdog in a cool way," she continues, adding her two cents about society's view on her. "It’s almost punk rock to like me because it’s not the right thing to do. Like, society wants to shut me down."
Cyrus has been making headlines over the last few months thanks to her risque performances, NSFW music videos and out-there apparel. She also recently ended her engagement to longtime boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, which didn't come as a surprise to many.
Still, the "Wrecking Ball" singer says she's putting all of her energy into her music and not dwelling on the breakup.
.
“I need to treat my music like a relationship give it my time and all the attention it deserves -– and that’s my main love right now," she explains. "This is the best time of my life. I’m not going to look back on it and be like, ‘I wish I hadn’t been dwelling over a breakup,’ you know? Because that’s not what God wants my life to be about right now. God wants my life to be about being successful and being happy and blessing other people and being blessed.”

Lou Reed Dead at 71. Legendary musician Lou Reed has died, Rolling Stone reported on Sunday.
He was 71.
The Guardian confirmed the report, citing Reed's agent. BBC also confirmed the report.
His exact cause of death was not immediately revealed, but the AP said it was a "liver-related ailment."
Earlier this year, he received a life-saving liver transplant after experiencing chronic liver failure. Reed was open about his addiction to drugs and alcohol in his music.
He'd been sober for decades, but his past drug use took a heavy toll on his body. In "Heroin," he wrote: “Heroin, be the death of me/Heroin, it’s my wife and it’s my life.”
Reed is best known for his work as guitarist, singer and songwriter for the Velvet Underground, and his solo career. Reed had a profound impact on American culture, introducing avant garde rock and pop art to mainstream music.
His work with Andy Warhol is noted as one of the most important collaborations in contemporary culture.
Though the Velvet Underground saw limited commercial success in the 60s, their popularity grew tremendously in the subsequent decades. Rolling Stone named their eponymous album the 13th greatest of all time and in 1996, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Christina Aguilera in Maxim Photo Shoot. Christina Aguilera is back and looking red hot in the pages of Maxim magazine.
The 32-year-old superstar singer appears on the cover of the October 2013 issue of the magazine looking sexy and slim in nothing but a black push-up bra and a white men's button-down. Her tousled platinum hair and sultry pose make for quite the steamy cover shot.
Inside the pages, the "Voice" mentor is no less sizzling in a skintight red satin dress and her hair piled atop her head. Despite the undeniable sex appeal, Aguilera thinks the definition of "sexy" is a bit more relaxed.
"I’m such a down-to-earth girl, I’m comfortable in just a jersey and boy’s underwear," she said. "Trying too hard to be sexy is the worst thing you can do. Sexiness should be effortless."
Aguilera, who has been dating Matt Rutler since 2010, also opened up about her sex life.
"The only place I don't need to be in control is the bedroom," she told Maxim, via People magazine. "Sometimes being sexual with my partner is a great way to blow off steam at the end of a hard day's work. I'm not the girl who's going to be too tired."
The singer gave a behind-the-scenes look at her Maxim shoot in the handmade music video for her new single, "Let There Be Love." In the video, the blond bombshell can be seen wearing a red dress while laughing with her makeup team on set.

Ireland Baldwin Meet Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger’s Model Daughter. Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger’s 17-year-old daughter has inked a deal with two major modeling agencies.
There’s a new Baldwin in town. Ireland Baldwin, the 17-year-old daughter of Oscar-winning actress Kim Basinger and ex-husband Alec Baldwin, has landed her very first modeling deal.
Baldwin has signed on with two different agencies,
Two Management in Los Angeles and IMG in New York, where she will join the ranks of legendary models like Kate Moss, Karlie Kloss and Chanel Iman. The young talent shared the news with her 20,000+ Twitter followers last week. “Officially working for @TwoManagement and @IMGModels ! I’m blessed, happy, and ready to WEEEEERK,” she wrote.
The Hollywood offspring definitely has model attributes. She stands at six feet two inches tall with a slim body and long blonde hair. According to her Tumblr page, her interests include in acting, dancing, writing, cinematography, filmography, alternative medicines, fitness and health. She also owns eight dogs and is a self-proclaimed “coffee addict.” Her strict dietary regimen, also outlined, consists of 30 minutes to one hour of cardio per day and daily servings of green tea, but she insists that she doesn’t “fast, binge or starve.”
Baldwin frequently posts photos to her Instagram account of her surfing with her boyfriend, professional standup paddle surfer and racer Slater Trout.
Modeling could be a natural move for Baldwin, as Basinger signed with Ford modeling agency at age 16 and starred in a series of ad campaigns before beginning her film career.
Baldwin expressed her admiration for her mother in a recent photo posted to her Twitter account. “My mom was the hottest Bond babe. Lets get real,” she wrote in the caption.

Track Facing Copyright Issues Baauer's ‘Harlem Shake’. Baauer has been enjoying the fruits of his labor with his track “Harlem Shake” by gaining Internet viral fame and climbing the Billboard charts to the number one spot for the past three weeks.
But he's now garnering attention from two musicians claiming his song sampled their music, without obtaining licensing for their songs.
Former reggaetón artist Hector Delgado and rapper Jayson Musson were both astonished when friends brought to their attention that their voices were used on “Harlem Shake," and are now seeking payment from Baauer’s record label, Mad Decent Records, as reported by the New York Times. Both parts in the song sampling the artists’s voices provide the pivotal moments in the viral videos, when fans explode into a dance frenzy.
Delgado, who is now an evangelical preacher, is heard saying the line “con los terroristas” (“with the terrorists”) on the song, and Musson exhorts, “do the Harlem Shake!”
“It’s almost like they came on my land and built a house,” Delgado told The Times.
The origins of the sampling began in Philadelphia when Baauer, whose real name is Harry Rodrigues, was working in the hip hop and electronic scene under the moniker, Cap’n Harry.
The sample was a trademark shout-out of Delgado’s songs, which Baauer found online. When Baauer was asked by the Daily Beast how he found Delgado’s famous line, the EDM producer said, “The dude in the beginning I got somewhere off the Internet, I don’t even know where.”
Musson’s chant is from the 2001 song, “Miller Time,” by the Philadelphia rap group, Plastic Little. He told the New York Times that when he found out his voice was used in the track, he called Baauer and thanked him for “doing something useful with our annoying music.”
Both artists are in discussions with the record label for payment for the samples and Musson has said they are being “cooperative.”
The ‘Bachelor’ of Virgin Mystery and Bachelor Proposes Official Video. The Bachelor doesn’t have the best track record for helping its stars get hitched not a single winning couple in 17 seasons has ever walked down the aisle but it usually leads to something else.
Even if the guy is on the fence about a girl, he’ll still go to second base with her, or further. And the producers linger on every passionate kiss. This eventually escalates into the fantasy suite date, which involves activities that can’t be televised on ABC. Mike Fleiss, the series creator, has said the average Bachelor sleeps with three women each season.
But Sean Lowe, the current Bachelor, had a different approach to reality-TV dating. He reportedly stayed celibate during his time on the show, which ended on Monday night with a teary wedding proposal to Catherine Giudici followed by a ride through Thailand on an elephant. (The runner-up, Lindsay Yenter, went home sobbing.) Lowe is a born-again virgin, a development the Bachelor cameras mostly ignored. It’s a mystery why a series built on sex wouldn’t explore its central character not having sex.
When reached on Monday, a publicist for The Bachelor said producers weren’t available for comment.
We first met Sean last summer as a contestant on The Bachelorette with Emily Maynard. A 29-year-old former fitness model, he had viewers swooning with his sculpted biceps and abs.
Although we learned (vaguely) that religion was an important part of Sean’s life, there was no tipoff that he was abstaining from sex. At the end of The Bachelorette, when Lowe and Maynard started making out, the camera cut to a testimonial from her, saying she wanted him to spend the night but she couldn’t do that to her daughter.
He was eliminated later in that episode. “I think she had a pretty good idea of what my values were,” Lowe told me in an interview last week. “I would definitely say we weren’t in the dark.”
As he began his reign on The Bachelor, Lowe followed the series script closely: each date ended with heavy kissing. He never brought up sex; it was the tabloids that broke the story.
Us Weekly dubbed him “The Virgin Bachelor,” reporting that Lowe swore off sex after college. Even though the finale was filmed in November, the magazine said Lowe still hadn’t slept with his fiancée.
Instead of telling us what made him different than all the previous bachelors, the show edited Lowe to look like every other guy. But when he was finally allowed to speak freely on Monday’s live “After the Rose” interview, Lowe came across as more religious. He said that during his final deliberations, “I stayed in prayer constantly.”
On why he finally picked Catherine, he told Lindsay: “God reveals things on His own time.” Host Chris Harrison asked simple questions about an overhyped letter Catherine wrote to Sean. The couple announced they will get married on live TV at a later date.
Lowe told me he didn’t understand why the virginity story had gotten so much attention.
“I’m shocked,” he said. “I don’t know why every tabloid feels the need to talk about it.” Of the born-again virgin label, he said, “I’ve never described myself that way,” though he later clarified, “it’s true.”
“It’s a decision that I’ve made,” he added. “But I don’t think it needs to be discussed on the show. That’s my personal opinion…for me, it’s a non-story.”
But it is an important part of the story. When Lowe approached the last three women during the fantasy suite episode, they seemed as perplexed as the viewers at home. He told them on camera that he didn’t want to have sex; he just wanted to talk. “Those three women knew what was going on,” Lowe said. “All three of them have the same values I have.” Did the producers know that he was born-again virgin? “I don’t know,” he said. “I don’t think it’s a big deal.”
Boobs Worth $5 Million Jennifer Love Hewitt's. Jennifer Love Hewitt knows what her best assets are and she is willing to protect them.
The 34-year-old actress admitted to USA Today that she would consider getting her breasts insured for somewhere around the $5 million range.
"I need, like, an insurance invitation. If somebody was like, 'Hey, you know what? We would like to insure your boobs for $2.5 million dollars,' I'd be like, 'Do it. Love it! Why not?'" Hewitt, who wears a 36C cup size, joked about her boobs, according to Us Weekly.
Pointing to her chest she added, "These things right here are worth $5 million!"
Hewitt has previously admitted that her breasts are her favorite body part. "It's horrible to say, but I like my boobs," she told Maxim magazine last year.
"They've always served me well. They're good."
Hewitt's breasts are certainly a focal point in her Lifetime series, "The Client List," in which she plays prostitute Riley Parks. In the show, the actress dons loads of sexy lingerie for her male clients.
But, she tells USA Today that she has become tired of fancy bedroom attire in real life. "I've cut down on the lingerie in my own life because I wear it all the time," she said. "So, it's like I don't want to go home and even think about another cute bra and panties set. I'm over it!"
Her skimpy on-set wardrobe definitely caught the attention of at least one person Brian Hallisay.
Hallisay, who co-stars with Hewitt as her on-screen husband, has been dating Hewitt for over a year now and the "Party of Five" star is reportedly hoping to settle down soon.
The Hangover Part III Movie Trailer 2013. I think everyone involved in The Hangover Part II probably realize that they screwed the pooch with that movie and even though it made a helluva lot of money, it would have made even more on reviews had the movie been actually good.
So here's hoping that they sorted their shit out with The Hangover Part III, which got its first trailer today. Not much can really be gleaned from the footage other than the wolfpack is back in Vegas and that Jeffrey Tambor is unfortunately dead. I'm pretty sure Justin Bartha is also in it, but as with the last two films, they try not to remind you that he's in it.
There were rumors that the plot of the film would revolve around Alan needing to be rescued from a mental hospital, but it doesn't really seem like that's alluded to at all in the trailer. Looks like they're beating a dead horse with Mr. Chow. John Goodman shows up with a gun, which seems kind of identical to Paul Giamatti in the last movie. Let's just hope they don't shoehorn in another Mike Tyson cameo for no reason.
At Soccer Game Britney Spears' Butt Makes An Appearance Photo. It's just another day at the soccer match, until it isn't.Newly brunetteBritney Spears flashed her bare bum at sons Jayden and Sean's soccer game Sunday in Los Angeles when the loose white dress she was wearing flared up behind her.
The wardrobe malfunction apparently inspired the 31-year-old pop star to change outfits: Spears was also photographed wearing a T-shirt and sweatpants at the same match.

Marvel's No. 1 Issues: Comic Book. In comics, the first issue is where the story starts and the legend begins.
For readers, a print copy of issue one can be hard to find and
expensive to buy. But those rules don't apply to tablets, laptops and
smartphones both for comics fans and those curious about characters they
may have seen in film or on television.
Part of that fascination with superheroes and their growing
cachet in popular culture is why Marvel Entertainment, home to the
Fantastic Four, the X-Men and the Avengers, among others, is making more
than 700 first issues available to digital readers starting Sunday for
free through the Marvel app and the company's website. After Tuesday,
they'll be sold for $1.99 to $3.99 per issue.
The titles go from the 1960s Silver Age to contemporary issues with
characters including Wasp, Mr. Fantastic, Power Man and Iron Fist, said
David Gabriel, senior vice president of sales.
"This is aimed at attracting fans from all walks of life those who
know our characters from the big screen, those who were readers but fell
out of the habit and our long-term fans too," he said. "We believe that
if we get those fans in the door, they'll stay and help grow this
industry, with purchases both in comic stores and via digital comic
outlets."
The publisher went through its catalog of more than 13,000 titles
that are already available digitally and plucked out the No. 1 issues
with historic ones like "Amazing Spider-Man" by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko
or the "Fantastic Four" by Lee and Jack Kirby as well as modern titles
like "Civil War," Joss Whedon's "Astonishing X-Men" and characters and
teams like the Uncanny Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy, too.
"We never want fans to feel like they need to have read it all. Of
course we want them to want to check out those stories, but the beauty
of these No. 1 issues is that each is an entry point," he said. "So with
a character like Iron Man, you can choose if you want to start with the
recent `Iron Man' series from Kieron Gillen or go back a few years to
when Matt Fraction launched `Invincible Iron Man' or even before that."

Morrissey was Hospitalized With Double Pneumonia. Less than two months after canceling shows because of a bleeding ulcer, Morrissey is now reportedly battling pneumonia in both lungs.
The 53-year-old singer is being treated at a hospital in San Francisco and has rescheduled another concert date, according to a statement posted on fan site True to You. Morrissey insists he'll be well again in time to perform at Mexico's Vive Latino Festival on March 14.
The former Smiths frontman originally canceled shows in January after it was revealed he was suffering from a throat condition known as Barrett’s esophagus, which is often associated with lethal cancer, along with the bleeding ulcer.
Morrissey was slated to perform at the Regents Ballroom in San Francisco this past weekend, but the show has now been postponed until May 1.
The singer has been the subject of a bevy of headlines lately, not all of which have centered on his health issues. At a Los Angeles concert on March 1, the outspoken vegetarian slammed Beyonce for wearing handbags that he said aid in the extinction of the rhino. In keeping with this fervent vegetarianism, Morrissey canceled his appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" shortly before his Beyonce rant after finding out the host was also scheduled to have the cast of hunting show "Duck Dynasty" appear on the same epsiode. Morrissey has also ignited feuds with Paul McCartney and the queen of England, who he said "wears enough fur to blanket most of Russia."

Justin Bieber Is Still A Badass. Justin Bieber may come off like a pussy little douche because he wears jean jackets and looks like Maggie Grace’ lesbian sister, but there is not a chance in hell you or I would survive a street fight with the Biebs and now we have our proof why.
He was out looking extra bad ass on the streets of London the other night with his freshest of inks- an X- his twelfth, which is situated next his intimidating black and gray tattoo of the old Tootsie Pop owl.
It’s a known fact that no man or woman with twelve or more tattoos has ever been defeated. The X is apparently meant to symbolize his Christian faith, which is kind of ironic because Christians hate the “fancy boys”.
Scarlett Johansson Engaged. If this were your local news, I could say, “Is Scarlett Johansson engaged, and is there a connection to Natalie Holloway killer Joran van der Sloot?” And then 20 minutes later I’d say I have no idea about either one of those things but Scarlet was wearing some kind of ring in New York. Local news can honestly go fuck itself.
P!nk - Try Official Video. Alecia Beth Moore (born September 8, 1979 in Doylestown, Pennsylvania), better known by her stage name P!nk, is an American singer songwriter who gained prominence in early 2000. She has so far sold over 10 million albums in the United States, and over 32 million worldwide, and has won three Grammy awards.
P!nk began her career as an rnb artist, signed to the predominately urban label, LAFACE RECORDS. She has since complained that because she chose to relinquish creative control to her record label, she did not like the type of music she was making at that time, and did not like her image, which included bright Pink hair.
Her first album, Can’t Take Me Home was a substantial success, going platinum, due to the huge pop and urban radio hit singles “There You Go” and “Most Girls”.
Towards the end of 2001, P!nk decided to take her career in a new direction and have more creative control.
Tired of being marketed as a another cookie-cutter pop act, and eager to become a more serious singer-songwriter and musician, P!nk sought the help of former 4 Non Blondes vocalist, Linda Perry. Together, P!nk and Perry co-wrote and co-produced most of the tracks on P!nk’s sophomore album, M!ssundaztood, which was released in November 2001.
The album’s more pop rock sound could be heard immediately with its first single, the Linda Perry penned “Get the Party Started”. “Get the Party Started” was a huge, commercially successful single, topping the charts in many countries. The album’s other singles, “Don’t Let Me Get Me”, “Just Like a Pill”, and “Family Portrait” were also radio and commercial successes.
Kanye West - All Of The Lights / Official Video. “All of the Lights” is a song from Kanye West’s fifth studio album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. The track features drop-ins from Rihanna, Alicia Keys, John Legend, The-Dream, Fergie, Kid Cudi, Elton John (on piano), Ryan Leslie, Charlie Wilson, Tony Williams and La Roux singer Elly Jackson. The song was written by Kanye West, Jeff Bhasker, Malik Jones, Warren Trotter and produced by Kanye West and Jeff Bkasker.
The video edit included only Rihanna and Kid Cudi’s vocals, but Rihanna was the only credited featured artist.
According to the All of the Lights Songfacts, Drake also recorded vocals for this track but was dropped from the final version. During an appearance on Shade 45’s morning show the rapper explained that despite not knowing why he was removed, he’s cool about it. Said Drake:
“We make music differently. I make what comes to me and I hate changing it, whereas ‘Ye will change something 30 or 40 times to get it perfect. To each their own, and the change was to put all those people on it, and I wasn’t one of them. That’s completely OK.”
Kanye Omari West (born June 8, 1977 in Atlanta, Georgia) is a Grammy award winning rapper, producer, author, designer and singer.
He began making beats and rapping in the early 90s in Chicago, IL, United States when he formed the rap group Go Getters with Chicago natives GLC and Really Doe.
He later gained nationwide popularity in New York when he began producing tracks for artists such as Jay-Z, Twista, Mase, Talib Kweli and Alicia Keys.
In 2004 (after being pushed aside by many record companies who felt he wasn’t a marketable hip hop artist), he managed to release his debut solo album, The College Dropout on Roc-a-Fella Records.
The album received critical acclaim, defining the style for which West would become known: “wordplay” and heavy sampling of 70s soul and rnb tracks. He is also known for his politically-charged rhymes and controversial behavior both inside and outside the realms of music.
He has since released four more albums, all of which have received numerous awards, high commercial success and critical acclaim. Late Registration (2005); Graduation (2007); 808s & Heartbreak (2008); and his current album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (2010).
Personal life:
West was born in Atlanta, Georgia. When he was three years old (as mentioned in Hey Mama) his parents divorced, and he moved with his mother to Chicago, Illinois.
Mumford and Sons / I will wait official video. Mumford & Sons are an indie folk/bluegrass group formed in London in September 2008. The band consists of Marcus Mumford (lead vocals, guitar, bass drum), Country Winston (banjo, slide guitar, vocals), Ted Dwayne (double bass, drums, vocals), and Ben Lovett (keyboards, accordion, vocals).
Having received critical acclaim from The Guardian on their “Band of the Day” online forum, and resounding praise from nearly everyone who has witnessed them supporting The Maccabees and Laura Marling, Mumford & Sons continue to turn heads in London’s growing folk scene.
Their debut EP, Lend Me Your Eyes, features four tracks, including lead single “Roll away Your Stone”. Chess Club released their second EP, “Love Your Ground”, on the 3rd November 2009 on 10inch vinyl. The third EP, “The Cave and the Open Sea” (which was limited to 500 vinyls) is available as a download from their official rawrip page.
Their debut album Sigh No More was released on Gentlemen of the Road/Island Records on the 5th October 2009, and the first single “Little Lion Man” came out a week earlier.
Several months after the release of Little Lion Man, it was voted #1 by listeners in the Australian Youth Radio station Triple J’s Hottest 100 for 2009.
They played live in the Triple J studio on the countdown day to celebrate the result. In the summer of 2010, “Little Lion Man” peaked at #1 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart and #45 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States. “The Cave” peaked at #3 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart and #27 on the Billboard Hot 100. Both singles have gone Platinum in the United States.
The I Will Wait Song facts says the first single from Mumford & Sons’ second album, Babel, is a rollicking stomp that finds Marcus Mumford singing about the challenges of maintaining a relationship amidst the conflicts of life on the road. It is one of several tracks on the set inspired by the band’s busy touring schedule.

IHOP celebrates National Pancake Day. On Feb. 5 with free food until 10 p.m.
For people who love long lines and seeing what sugar does to overtired children, this is your lucky night.
For those who carry the heavily scented trauma of watching an IHOP mini-pitcher of "Butter Pecan" syrup pour into the floor mats of a 1987 Chevy Cavalier, this annual tradition is a terror of senses.
There are at least 48 locations within 50 miles of Los Angeles.
The freebie covers one short stack of Original Buttermilk Pancakes per face, and you have to sit there and eat it. No takeout.
Why so generous with the 750-calorie treats? IHOP hopes that in exchange for a free, sticky high, you will make a charitable donation. $10 million says you will.
Rihanna - Diamonds. Produced by Stargate and Benny Blanco, “Diamonds” boasts soaring vocals and an undeniable hook. The Diamonds Songfacts reports the song was premiered on September 26, 2012 during Elvis Duran and the Morning Show and was made available for digital download an hour later.
On the Billboard Hot 100 chart, dated December 1, 2012, released on Thanksgiving day of 2012, “Diamonds” became Rihanna’s twelfth number one single on the chart, tying her with Madonna and The Supremes in fifth place for artists with the most number one hits.
It also tied her for second place with Madonna for female artists with the same feat. Only Mariah Carey has more, with eighteen number ones. Rihanna also became the female artist to get twelve number one hits the fastest.
“You’re not sad or dancing.
You’re happy and hippie. It’s laid-back, but it’s hopeful,” Rihanna told Elvis Duran. “It gives me such a great feeling when I listen to it. The lyrics are very hopeful and positive, but it’s about love and the gears are a little different from what people would expect. I’m excited to surprise them sonically.
”
Aussie songwriter Sia penned the lyrics, which reference various drugs. “Palms rise to the universe/ As we, moonshine and molly/ Feel the warmth, we’ll never die. We’re like diamonds in the sky,” sings the Bajan babe, who will launch her “Diamonds World Tour” in March.
Taylor Swift - We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together. “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” is a song recorded by American singer songwriter Taylor Swift. It was written by Swift with the song’s co-producers Max Martin and Shellback. It was released as the lead single from Swift’s upcoming fourth studio album Red (2012) on August 14, 2012 by Big Machine Records. The We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together Songfacts reports that the song was Taylor’s first ever #1 on the American Hot 100.
After writing Speak Now (2010) entirely solo, she opted to collaborate with different songwriters and producers for Red. Thus, she called Max Martin and Shellback, two songwriters and producers whose work she admired fondly, to discuss a possible collaboration. The trio conceived the concept for “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” incidentally after a friend of Swift’s ex-boyfriend walked into the recording studio and spoke of rumors he heard that Swift and her former flame were reuniting.
With the friend gone, Martin and Shellback asked Swift to elaborate on the details of the relationship, which she described as “break up, get back together, break up, get back together, just, ugh, the worst”. Martin then suggested that they write about the incident. Swift began playing the guitar and singing, “We are never…”, and the song flowed rapidly afterwards. She described the process as one of the most humorous experiences she had while recording, and said the musical partners matched her expectations.
Dance, Dance Fall Out Boy. “Dance, Dance” is the second single from Fall Out Boy’s third studio
album From Under the Cork Tree. Released in 2006, the single reached #3
in the U.S., becoming their second Top 10 single. It also reached #6 on
the Pop 100. The song peaked at #8 on the UK Singles Chart, becoming
their second Top 10 hit there as well.
This song has been included in multiple video games; Burnout Revenge,
Madden 2006, the home version of Dance Dance Revolution Super NOVA,
Sing Star Pop Hits, and the US version of Sing Star Rocks!.
It also appeared
on the Brazilian version of Infinity on High, From Under the Cork
Tree’s 2007 follow-up. Pete Wentz prevented the Kidz Bop Kids from
singing this on their latest Kidz Bop CD because of the sexual overtones
to the song.
The demo for the song includes an extra verse that was later cut out of the original.
Fall Out Boy's New York Concert. Fresh off a three-year hiatus, Fall Out Boy took the stage at The
Studio at Webster Hall in New York on Tuesday night, playing for a crowd
of 300 to 400 near-rabid fans. The concert came as a total surprise
after the band announced on Monday they would be touring to support a new album in May , released a new single and would kick it all of with three intimate shows in Chicago, New York and LosAngles this week.
After three long years, the band actually seems to be having fun
again. During a mostly tight 90-minute set, FOB plowed through a 24 song set nearly identical to the one they played in the Chicago on Monday , with front man Patrick Stump again admitting he was struggling to remember all the lyrics to their songs.
It's a relief to see the boys back in good spirits, since the band's last album "Folie a Deux"
touched so heavily on the theme of the perils of fame something the
band's bassist and mouthpiece, Pete Wentz, is well-versed in. When FOB
announced they were going on an indefinite hiatus in November 2009,Wentz told kerrang! that he felt his high-profile relationship with Ashlee Simpson and his personal life had become a "hindrance for the band."
"I think the world needs a little less Pete Wentz. A lot of people
think Fall Out Boy is me. But it's the four of us. I want to f--king
vomit when I read intros that say, 'Pete Wentz: accidental internet
poster boy.' It makes me feel ugly," he explained at the time.Wentz has since disorved Simson
and managed to stay out of the headlines. Though certain circumstances
have changed, fans can rest assured that Fall Out Boy has not forgotten
how to play.
If anything, time has made them stronger. Stump seems to have only benefitted from his stint a solo artist and now has more confidence than ever or he at least appears less likely to let Wentz do all the talking this time around.
More changes come in the form of the band's new obsession with rock
and roll, which is fitting since their forthcoming album is titled "Save
Rock and Roll." There is no denying their sound has changed over the
years, but despite however many rappers FOB collaborates with, they're
going to be hard pressed to lose their reputation as a solid pop punk
band -- but they are dead set on trying (just don't tell that to the
fans screaming "punk as f--k" over and over again.)
The years off also seem to have boosted the band's appreciation for
their fans. When they weren't repeatedly asking the crowd to take a step
back to keep from squishing those at the front, their entire stage
banter consisted of Stump and Wentz showering the crowd with compliments
and repeating how damn happy they were to be performing once again. The
mood turned saccharine when Wentz implored the crowd to just remember
"how perfect this moment is and how perfect you are right now," before
launching into their biggest hit, "Sugar, We're Going Down."
After years of tabloid stories about the band's struggle with success and subsequent disappointments with side and solo prodject, post hiatus Fall Out Boy seems to have realized that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
Miley Cyrus ridiculously short.Miley Cyrus channeled the '90s as she stepped out in a pair of
ridiculously short shorts that were cut up to there Monday afternoon in
Hollywood. Photo agency X17 snapped the engaged 20 year old singer

and a floral crop top that seemed to be ripped straight from the pages

physical transformation in the past year, having noticeably trimmed down
and cropped her hair into a short pixie cut.
“Creep” is the first single released by the English
alternative rock band Radiohead, and is a track on their debut album Pablo Honey (1993). It was written by the band’s singer, Thom Yorke,
and released in the United Kingdom initially in September 1992.
When it
was first given limited release, however, Radio 1 found it “too
depressing”, and removed it from their playlist after airing it only
twice. However, it subsequently became one of the band’s biggest hits,
and became their only Top 40 hit in the United States until 2008’s “Nude”, despite the success of their future albums in the country.
The song
re-entered the UK chart at number 37 on 8 June 2008, as a result of
downloads, following the release of Radiohead’s The Best of album earlier that month.
Covers
First should be stated that Creep itself may be considered as a cover song, based on a famous song by sixties band The Hollies. The name of the song was The Air That I Breathe and was written byAlbert Hammond and Mike Hazelwood.
In April 2008, Prince
covered ‘Creep’ at Coachella. This version was captured on a video from
a concert-goer’s cell phone, and promptly uploaded to Youtube. However,
it was quickly taken down at Prince’s request. After finding out about
the blocking, Thom Yorke was quoted as saying, “Well, tell him to
unblock it. It’s our song.”
Alternative rock band Weezer
covered “Creep” during their 2008 Hootenanny Tour with bassist Scott
Shriner on lead vocals. Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo stated that the
song was picked to cover because “it’s incredible what they do with four
chords, over and over.”
COLD PLAY The Scientist. Chris Martin wrote “The Scientist” after listening to George Harrison’s “All Things Must Pass”. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Martin revealed that while working on the band’s second album, A Rush of Blood to the Head, he knew that the album was missing something.
One night, during a stay in Liverpool, Martin found an old piano that was out of tune. He wanted to work on George Harrison’s song “Isn’t It a Pity”, but he could not manage to do so. When the song came to Martin, he asked that the recorder be turned on. He concludes with saying that he came across this chord sequence and noted that the chord was “lovely”. Martin recorded the vocals and piano takes in a studio in Liverpool.
When asked about the development of the song, during a track-by-track reveal, Martin said: “That’s just about girls. It’s weird that whatever else is on your mind, whether it’s the downfall of global economics or terrible environmental troubles, the thing that always gets you most is when you fancy someone.”
However, the inside cover to A Rush of Blood to the Head stated: “The Scientist is Dan.” ‘Dan’ refers to Dan Keeling, the A&R man who signed the band to Parlophone.
COLD PLAY PARADISE : London, United Kingdom (1997 – present)
Coldplay is a British alternative rock band, formed in London, United Kingdom in 1997. The band comprises vocalist and pianist Chris Martin, lead guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, and drummer Will Champion.
Having released four successful albums, (all of which debuted at #1 on the UK album chart) Coldplay have also achieved great success with their singles, such as Yellow, Speed of Sound, the Grammy-winning Clocks and the US and UK #1 single Viva la Vida.
Frontman Chris Martin credits 1980s Norwegian pop band a-ha for inspiring him to form his own band.
Coldplay’s early material was often compared to that of Jeff Buckley and Radiohead, while also drawing comparisons to U2 and Travis.
Since the release of the band’s debut album, Parachutes (2000), Coldplay has also drawn influence from other sources, including Echo And The Bunnymen and George Harrison on A Rush of Blood to the Head (2002) and Johnny Cash and Kraftwerk for X&Y (2005).
Coldplay are one of very few current British music acts to achieve major success in North America. Despite their large worldwide popularity, the band has remained protective of how their music is used in the media, refusing its use for product endorsements. In the past, Coldplay had turned down multi-million dollar contracts from Gatorade, Diet Coke, and Gap, who wanted to use the songs “Yellow”, Trouble, and Don’t Panic respectively. According to Martin, “We wouldn’t be able to live with ourselves if we sold the songs’ meanings like that.”
On the other hand, “Yellow” has been used to back TV trailers for “The Simpsons” and “Viva la Vida” from their latest album features on the current iTunes TV advert.
