Fans Support Chiefs Despite Loss. Fans expected the Chiefs to bring home a victory on Sunday. Most say they're not disappointed with the 2010 season. People at Tanner's in Kansas City's Waldo area were just glad the team made it to the playoffs. Plenty of excitement was in the air as people packed the bar which was lined with Chiefs logos and jerseys.

Most of the people cheering on the Chiefs on Sunday said they never thought they'd make it as far as they did. Fans had smiles are their faces during the first half of the game while the team was doing well!

"Oh the beginning of the game was fun," said

The Baltimore Ravens started pulling away and Chiefs fans had started to accept the possibility of a loss.

"Unfortunately because when you're down that many touchdowns its hard to come back," said Paul Lindstrom, Chiefs fan.

As the game came to an end and the score became final, fans felt the cold end of the season.

"I believe we had five turnovers and that affected us big time today," Lindstrom said.

Many fans didn't let a loss dampen the excitement of the Chiefs having a successful season.

"I didn't expect them to go this far this fast," said fan Daphne Sajovic. "I thought it would be next year."

Most fans FOX 4 spoke to said they believe the team is young and has promise.

Another matchup for next weekend’s Divisional Round has been set, and it will indeed be a true divisional battle in the AFC bracket of the 2011 NFL Playoffs. Ravens vs. Chiefs in the AFC playoffs, the Kansas City Chiefs went into the half ahead by 4 points with a touchdown by Jamaal Charles on a run of 41 yards. The Baltimore Ravens have a field goal on the scoreboard and no team makes it easy on each other to add points, which is exactly how I like my playoff games!

The second quarter was a picture of frustration for both teams. Heads fumbled a ball that Baltimore recovered but has not been able to convert into points. Baltimore is a passing game and the Chiefs play the race. I expect in the locker room at halftime, something will be changed on both sides.
