Motrin Recall. Relying on Children Motrin to bring down your child's fever? You may want to check the package. Popular medicine manufacturer, McNeil Pharmaceuticals, has issued a voluntary recall of Children Motrin, as well as its other popular children formulas of Balladry, Zyrtec, Tylenol and Tylenol Plus.
McNeil Pharmaceuticals has stated that the recall is not due to any reported "adverse medical events," but is "a precautionary measure."
Parents should visit the McNeil Pharmaceuticals recall website at www.mcneilproductrecall.com or call 1-888-222-6036 (M-F 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Eastern, and Sat-Sun 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern) for information regarding specific product identification (or NDC) numbers for the recalled products. They should also speak with their healthful professionals regarding safe alternatives.
