Indianapolis House of Democrats 2011. Indianapolis,Indiana House Democrats may have fled the state in protest of a so-called right to work bill and other GOP-backed bills in the Legislature, a Democratic Party source told 6News.

Sources gave conflicting information about the whereabouts of Indiana Democrats, who didn't show up to begin the day in the House on Tuesday morning, effectively stopping business in that legislative chamber.

It was obvious from all the empty seats on the Democratic side of the chamber that the House did not have the two-thirds quorum needed to conduct business. But the rules required a vote anyway.

Scabies skin disease of Dogs 2011

Advertisements
Scabies skin disease of Dogs 2011. Scabies is caused by a particular type of mite that lives on the skin of your dog. This mite can also survive on the skin of cats and certain other animals.

The primary way that a dog tends to develop scabies is through contact with the mites directly. This can happen in any number of different ways. First, the mites may exist outside and in nature.

Scabies mites can also be passed indoors as well. They can live in carpet, and eggs can be left in carpeting as well. Thus, if your dog lies down on carpet that has the mites or the mite eggs, he may ultimately become infected by the scabies mites.

Finally, scabies are most commonly transmitted through physical contact. Multiple pets and one of them develops scabies. Any sort of close physical contact between pets can give the scabies mites the opportunity to spread from one animal to another.

Human beings can even be a vector for scabies mites as well, although the mites will not cause humans any damage.

Ruby Heartbreaker 2011

Ruby Heartbreaker 2011. An Italian sex scandal that spawned nationwide demonstrations over the premier's alleged abuse of power and paying an underage girl for sex began at a dinner party in Milan with a Moroccan born dancer nicknamed "Ruby Heartbreaker."

The dancer, Karima El Mahrough, was 17 years old at the time of the alleged sexual encounter with Italy's Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, according to prosecutors in Milan.

The leggy performer, who has since appeared in scantily clad photographs across the country, told the Italian news channel Sky TG24 that she had lied about her age before meeting Berlusconi for a dinner party at his private residence near Milan.

It was during that first encounter on Valentine's Day in 2010 that El Mahrough said she received 7,000 euros (about $9,300) after a friend informed Berlusconi that she needed help.

Both have denied allegations of having sex.

"Absolutely no," El Mahrough said. "I just arrived in Milan, and it was a little difficult living there," she said, claiming that Berlusconi gave her the money to help support herself financially.

But an investigation into their relationship burgeoned after the prime minister urged police to release her when she was arrested on theft charges. El Mahrough said that after the arrest, she was visited by dancer Michelle Oliveira and regional lawmaker Nicole Minetti, whom prosecutors have tried to link to the allegations against the prime minister.

In their conversation, El Mahrough described the premier as "bitter" because he had allowed someone to enter his house trustingly. Investigators say they later questioned the dancer's former roommate, who claimed El Mahrough had confided in her, describing the details of her sexual relationship with the Italian premier.

Berlusconi, 74, denied allegations surrounding his relationship with El Mahrough as well as his alleged abuses of power, arguing that his phone call to police was a case of mistaken identity.

His party has argued that Berlusconi believed El Mahrough was a relative of then-Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and that he called the police station on her behalf to avoid a possible diplomatic crisis with Egypt.

But little is known about the dancer whose involvement in the scandal helped catalyze demonstrations against Italy's premier and his penchant for dinner parties attended by "pretty girls," according to local media reports and accounts by lawmaker Minetti.

El Mahrough reportedly said on the Italian talk show "Kalispera" owned by Berlusconi that she was a victim of child abuse and became a runaway before landing a job dancing at nightclubs.

The scandal has made El Mahrough, now 18, a national figure. Meanwhile, Berlusconi has been ordered to stand trial in April, when he will face a three judge panel. All of them are women.

5 Brown guilty to child sex abuse. The father of musical group The 5 Browns on Thursday pleaded guilty to sexually abusing his daughters when they were children, and could spend at least 10 years in prison.

In a barely audible voice, Keith Scott Brown, 55, pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree felony sodomy upon a child and two counts of second-degree felony sexual abuse of a child. A sentencing was scheduled for March 31.

Under the terms of the agreement, Brown would face 10 years to life for the sodomy charge, and 1 to 15 years on each of the second degree felonies. The sentences would run concurrently.

Brown, who sat next to his sister-in-law in court, declined to comment to reporters as he left 4th District Judge David N. Mortensen’s courtroom Thursday morning. Steven Shapiro, Brown’s attorney, said the plea was the result of nearly six months of negotiations between prosecutors and Brown.

Today was the next step in a very long process of accountability for a reprehensible. Shapiro said. He said the plea will minimize the harm a public trial would cause the family.

Football gets a kick from Azkals feat 2011

Football gets a kick from Azkals feat. President Aquino yesterday asked for a review of the country’s football program, which will then be prioritized over other sports, including basketball, even as he lauded the Philippine Azkals 2-0 victory over the Blue Wolves of Mongolia in the opener of their AFC Challenge Cup qualifying tie late Wednesday in Bacolod.

The whole sports program is currently under review. My focus actually is can we not concentrate on sports where we have a good chance of excelling. The President told Palace reporters in a chance interview at the Heroes’ Hall in MalacaƱang yesterday.

We have heard horror stories regarding sports over the years and we want to rectify all of them. But we have a government that is not awash with resources,” said Aquino, who, however, stressed that this could be solved with the Public Private Partnership program.

Of course, football is on top of the list, given what they have already demonstrated in addition to boxing and perhaps shooting,” The Chief Executive, a known sharpshooter, explained further. Aquino could not hide his happiness over the Azkals feat, considering the odds that the Philippine team had with football not among the country’s favorite sports.

They demonstrated hard work. Football does not have that big a pool of players but they still managed to really how shall I put it. They inspired so many of our countrymen,” he said. “And I think the inspiration was reciprocated by everybody who watched both live and on TV.

He added: “Your two goals showcased both Filipino creativity and the hard work you put in to master your sport. You brought our people together and reminded us once again that, united, we can reclaim our nation’s glory.”

Meanwhile, the country’s top sports officials yesterday extolled the Azkals feat, saying the rebirth of the sport is within sight even as they stressed the need of the private sector to help in the development of the sport.

The highest finish by any RP men’s football team in the SEAG was fourth when the country hosted the event exactly two decades ago. Sports patron Manny Pangilinan said it’s about time the country enjoys a football renaissance.

We should encourage the development of football, it is truly a global sport and it fits the Filipino physique and temperament,” said Pangilinan, whose company Smart, through the MVP sports foundation, recently pledged Philippine football P80 million for a 10 year partnership.

Kenneth Mars Passes away in the age of 75

Kenneth Mars Passes away in the age of 75. Hollywood has lost another wonderfully colorful supporting player. The always enjoyable Kenneth Mars veteran of dozen of films.Has passed away at the age of 75 after a battle with cancer. To a big section of my generation. Mars was a face first and a "name" second but we loved him no less.

To a child watching like me "Young Frankenstein" for example, there's a lot of stuff that might fly right over his or her head. But the particularly silly contributions from Kenneth Mars and Marty Feldman stand out like huge neon flowers to an 8-year-old movie freak. His hilariously bizarre performance as Inspector Kemp was always one of my favorites, but once I got a little older and saw Mars' work in "The Producer" I knew that this man was a specifically gifted comedian. It takes some real talent to play a Hitler-adoring Nazi lunatic in a broad farce and NOT come off as ugly distasteful or unpleasant. Mr. Mars' performance as Franz Liebkind was none of those things.

But Mel Brooks wasn't the only employer who enjoyed Kenneth Mars. Disney tapped the man to play the rather important role of Ariel's over protective papa in 'The Little Mermaid. Woody Allen hired the man for 'Radio Days' and 'Shadows and Fog and Mr. Mars also provided strong character work for directors like Herbert Ross "Protocol", Michael Ritchie "Fletch" and Alexander Payne "Citizen Ruth". The man did seemingly triple the TV work that he did on the silver screen, but fans of both media have lost a fine companion today.

Hit the jump for some of our favorite Mars moments. And of course our deepest condolences to the late actor's family.

iPhone Nano 2011 with talk of me Mobile Me

iPhone Nano 2011 with talk of me MobileMe. Apple is working on a smaller, cheaper iPhone insists the Wall Street Journal, as well as a "major revamp" of MobileMe that would see the cloud based synchronization service add a digital media "locker" and drop its annual $99 price tag.

Sunday Journal story comes on the heels of a similar piece from Bloom Bergs News. Which claimed that Apple was hard at work on a new iPhone that would be a third smaller than the iPhone 4, with older components and a lower, potentially no contract sticker price.

The new article in the Journal which, many suspect. Apple's newspaper of choice when it comes to strategic leaks) takes Bloom berg's bet and raises it, reporting that the new iPhone is only half the size of the iPhone 4, with an "edge-to-edge" touchscreen and "voice-based navigation."

Code named "N97" a none-too-subtle jab at the hulking nokia N97 from a couple of years back perhaps. The new iPhone would be "significantly lighter" than the current version, according to the Journal, and it would cost mobile operators half as much meaning carriers might go ahead and offer it for free, albeit with a two year contract.

The Journal story makes no mention of a couple of key details from last week's Bloom berg report, that the new iPhone might sell for $200 without a contract, and arrive with universal SIM technology that would let consumers pick a carrier themselves.

But the Journal goes on to revive another old rumor that apple. Which of course, refused to comment on the latest rumors is poised to relaunch its $99 a year MobileMe service as a free digital "locker" for iTunes music libraries, videos, and photos.

Word has it that Apple is still wrangling with the big music labels over licensing rights to stream their music, and indeed, the Journal says those talks are still underway. o, if you weren't keen on the idea of an iPhone a third smaller than the original with a $200, no-contract price tag, what would you say to a half-size iPhone for free but with a two-year contract. And what if it came with a free digital media locker in the bargain? Enticing, or simply more of the same, only in a smaller package.

Getting Closer To an HIV Cure 2011

Advertisements
Getting Closer To an HIV Cure 2011. If you remember last December the first ever human went from HIV-positive to HIV-negative. The “cure” a stem cell transplant fortified with a particular sort of HIV resistant strain, was grueling, brutal, and risky. The patient had a one in three chance of dying from each of the two transplants. The therapy took two years, and it’s certainly pricey enough that you can be sure the insurance companies of the world will lobby hard to make sure it never gets beyond being classified as “experimental".

What I’m saying is that curing someone in this case doesn’t indicate that we’ve found a cure. But researchers in Australia at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute announced this week via a new study that the answer could be as simple as pumping up your body’s immune system. The potential cure has to do with a hormone called interleukin 7 which “reinvigorates” the body’s immune system when it’s faced with something as hard-core as HIV, or Hepatitis or Tuberculosis.

Viruses such as HIV and hepatitis B and C overwhelm the immune system leading to establishment of chronic infections that are lifelong and incurable,” [study author] Dr Pellegrini said. “Despite tremendous efforts long lived immune responses for some of these viruses are ineffective, because the body is so overrun by virus that the immune system, in particular T cells, just give up trying to battle the infection. Some people have coined the phrase ‘immune exhaustion’ to explain the phenomenon. Our approach is to discover some of the mechanisms that cause this immune exhaustion, and manipulate host genes to see if we can boost the natural immune response in order to beat infection.

“In an overwhelming infection SOCS 3 becomes highly activated and suppresses the immune response, probably as a natural precaution to prevent ‘out-of-control’ responses that cause collateral damage to body tissue,” Dr Pellegrini said. “In the case of these overwhelming infections, the immune system effectively slams on the brakes too early, and the infection persists.”

So the general idea then is convincing your body that it can do the damn thing and take the infection down. Sort of a pep talk and a Sparks for your T cells.

Porn Star Gets Pounded on Primetime 2011

Porn Star Gets Pounded on Primetime. What is the last thing you expect to see on an ABC primetime reality TV show. An international porn star. However that’s exactly what viewers saw when they tuned into a recent episode of ABC’s Winter Wipeout. Most likely, the head honchos over at ABC had no idea who Joanna Dutremble really was when they cast her in the latest season of the network’s popular reality competition. She’s better known to her legions of fans as Taylor Wane, an AVN Hall of Famer who has been working in the adult film industry for the last 21 years.

We’re not sure why she wanted to appear in a slapstick reality TV competition. On the show, contestants must navigate insane obstacle courses reminiscent of a Mario Bros. video game. While its hosts provide commentary and ridicule them along. The way the winner takes home a grand prize of $50,000, but we can’t imagine Taylor is that hard up for money. But regardless of her reason for doing the show, we’re guessing she probably regrets her decision, since all she got for her troubles was an epic pounding and not at all the sort she used to and a painful back injury. As you’ll see from the clip below, Taylor really took a beating on Wipeout winter course. Sure, she’s used to getting tossed around and hammered, and has starred in such videos as Taylor Wane Gets Screwed Real Hard and Taylor Wane Takes a Pounding, but even years of hardcore couldn’t prepare her for this torturous ordeal.

After seeing that we’re certain that Taylor will not be making any more forays into primetime TV anytime in the near future. Because if she going to get screwed really hard she might as well get pleasure instead of pain and get paid.

Bloody Murder Higher Rating 2011

Bloody Murder Higher Rating 2011. I’ve recently re-acquainted myself with cable news. Why, I’m not particularly sure but Anderson Cooper Matt Lauer and Wolf Blitzer are all back in my life, for better or worse. Cooper was recently assaulted in Egypt while reporting on the revolution, and last week I could smell the self-righteousness oozing out of him as he reiterated again and again that he was broadcasting from a safe location. Well, good Anderson. Would hate to see your head get blown off on live TV. We’re already not that far from such entertainment. A couple of weeks ago, I saw the beginning of Written in Blood, one of Dateline NBC’s two-hour true crime documentaries. This one told the story of a Michigan family. the Jabalees torn apart when mother and father are found dead on the floor of the garage The victims of a messy and merciless killing.

Ann Curry introduced the night of gore and horror, and at its outset I couldn’t help but think about the fact that a nipple can’t be shown in prime time but bloody crime photos of murdered bodies are a okay. Even more nauseating was the sideways-baseball cap toting wigger son Ryan who recounted the moment when he told his brother what had happened: “[I told him] mom and dad have passed. He said, ‘What do you mean Mom and Dad have passed?. I said Mom and Dad passed somebody killed them somebody hurt them they are not alive. The mother’s dying scrawl, a smudged and mopped away phrase written in her own blood

First of all, a month after the murders he told his uncle he “wasn’t sure” if he killed his parents or not. Chalk it up to a demanding Vicodin addiction but adding to that his alibi was weak and I mean c’mon guys he totally did it. That was more or less the prosecution’s case, without any physical evidence to back it up most of the scene had been mopped of blood, guts, and fingerprints by the murderer. The indignation I felt at the hypocrisy of our viewing standards washed away as I became more and more compelled by this story.

We talk about how terrible it is and ask for every gory detail. The urge to rubberneck is always there. And that’s okay, I guess; it’s not like Dateline is making us more violent. What gets me is how prudish and dramatic we still are about acknowledging sex. It’s absurd that a pecker is still somehow deeply offensive and traumatic. I know we’ve come to this point after hundreds of years of history.

It just doesn’t make sense that graphic violence is acceptable programming and sex or benign sexual organs is not. No wonder we have nuts like Jared Loughner and Seung Hui Cho psychos who are smart enough to know they will be forever memorialized and made infamous by the media.

There’s nothing wrong with being compelled by true crime stories I guess, but let’s be real. There buckets of innuendo and sexual suggestion everywhere in the media. We all know everyone fucks or wants to. I can’t help but feel the cognitive dissonance we all experience every day has a lot to do with these arbitrary contradictions.

Indonesia breaks RP Azkals’ unbeaten streak in Suzuki Cup 2011

Indonesia breaks RP Azkals’ unbeaten streak in Suzuki Cup 2011. The Philippine Azkals paid dearly for a defensive lapse, enabling Indonesia to eke out a 1-0 win in their opening match in the Suzuki Cup semifinals at the jampacked Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta , Indonesia Thursday night.

An apparent miscommunication between Pinoy goalie Neil Etheridge and fullback Ray Jonsson allowed Indon striker Cristiano Gonzales to head in the solitary goal in the 32nd minute and give the hosts the upper hand in the 2-match series.

Receiving a long cross from Oktovianus Maniani, the 32-year-old naturalized Uruguayan soared and headed from 10 yards on the right wing as Etheridge, who left the goal unguarded, and Jonsson both tried to foil the attack. The ball caromed off the left post and inside the net as the Indonesian crowd of 80,000, which included President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and his wife, erupted in jubilation.

The outcome made the job doubly harder for the Azkals, who must not only win the second match on Sunday but also score more goals for a better aggregate tally to advance to the championship round.

But the defeat was nothing to be ashamed about for the Filipino booters, who, tuning out the hostile crowd, fought on even terms with their heavily-favored hosts, except for that costly error in the first half.

Filipino-British striker Phil Younghusband nearly scored the equalizer with a 25-yard back-to-the-goal strike in the 74th minute as Indonesian goalkeeper Markus Rihihina strayed away from the net to help out on defense. Fortunately for Rihihina, an Indonesian defender was there to clear the volley over the crossbar.

For most of the match, however, Younghusband was a closely marked man with three Indonesian players collapsing on him every time he had possession of the ball during the physical match that where both sides were awarded 2 yellow cards apiece.

James Younghusband, Phil’s elder brother, and skipper Aly Borromeo were slapped one each for the Filipinos while Oktovianus Maniani and Gonzales also got one for the Indonesians. Maniani earlier got away with what should have been his first yellow card when he elbowed Anton del Rosario in the nape in the 31st minute after being tackled by the Filipino defender.

Eight minutes later, Del Rosario and Indonesian midfielder Mohammad Nasuah butted heads as both attempted to clear the ball. Nasuah, a vital cog in the midfield, later returned with his head heavily-bandaged.

Del Rosario also figured in an argument with Gonzales late in the second half, refusing to be bullied by the stocky striker. While the Filipinos pressed the attack at the onset of the second half in a bid to equalize, they lost steam in the middle of it and allowed the Indonesians to control the ball the rest of the way.

Most of their counterattacks fell short while the hosts found gaps in their defenses, which Etheridge fortunately managed to save. Unlike their previous rivals, the Indonesians had scouted the Filipinos well and were ready for the visitors’ vaunted counterattacks.

With the AFF not implementing the away-goals rule, the Azkals can win the tie and advance to the final if they defeat the Indonesians by at least 2 goals in the second leg. The Filipinos' next semifinal game against the Indonesians will also take place at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium.

Verizon iPhone 5 2011

12 Things You Must Know About the Verizon iPhone. The arrival of the Verizon Apple iPhone 4 has been cause for some celebration among Verizon customers and even some who are already using the phone on AT&T. In fact virtually every smart phone customer is likely wondering if they should adopt one of the leading smart phones on the U.S.'s most reliable mobile network. These 12 facts may help you decide.

The Verizon iPhone is No Thicker or Heavier than the AT&T model.
Apple told me and my examination proves that these phones are like twins more identical than fraternal. Both iPhones are 9.3 millimeters thick still among the thinnest smart phones on the market.

The Antenna Design is Different for a Reason.
It's no accident that the AT&T iPhone 4 and Verizon iPhone 4 antenna bands around the phones do not look exactly the same. The differences are hard to notice unless you hold the two phones side by-side as I did. The Verizon iPhone uses a CDMA network antenna. In fact, it uses two CDMA antennas (a necessary redundancy for the CDMA network. As a result, there are identical antenna band bar breaks on either side of the phone. By the way Apple told me that unlike GSM the CDMA network actually works to give you a few more seconds of connectivity before the call breaks off completely. In other words, even on the worst connections, you may still be able to recover the call.

Death Grip is Hard to Find
No matter how hard I gripped the Verizon iPhone or in what configuration. I could not recreate the old AT&T iPhone 4 Death Grip that is unless the connectivity was already weak. So on the very rare occasions that I dropped down to two bars which means I was in 2G land. I could cover all the antenna gaps and get the bars to drop down even further. Still I never cut off the signa.

It has a Personal Hot Spot
There aren a lot of differences between the AT&T iPhone and the Verizon model but this is a biggie. You can turn the phone into a WiFi hub for up to five devices. In my tests, the connection was strong and held on for at least 25 feet. One of my tests involved leaving the iPhone on a Windowsill and connecting through my Blackberry Torch from a room upstairs and on the other side of my home. Data throughput performance on the iPhone itself does diminish a bit when it's sharing.

Data Will Cost You
As much as I love the personal hot spot and I really do love it will cost an additional $20 a month with, for now unlimited data for an additional $30 a month. That's pretty pricey when you consider you'll also be paying a monthly service plan fee. However if you consider what you pay for a separate EVDO modem and the monthly data costs.

You Can't Do Voice and Data at the Same Time
This is probably the single biggest limitation of the Verizon iPhone and could turn into its most popular complaint. You can make a call and you can get your data connection, but do not try and do it at the same time. For most people, this will not be a problem (how often are you calling and browsing the Web at the same time. In fact, if you receive a call while using the Personal Hot spot on a 3G connection, the Verizon phone will prioritize the call.

AT&T and Verizon offer Virtually the Same Voice Plans
If you're trying to decide between a Verizon iPhone 4 and the AT&T model don't base the decision on the calling plans. Both have $69.99 unlimited calling rates and at the lower end. offer 450 minutes a month for $39.99.

No SIM card
Another physical difference between the AT&T phone and the Verizon iPhone is that the latter lacks a SIM card slot. CDMA phones don't use SIM cards, instead relying on a cloud-based set of serial numbers to authenticate network phones. So you won't be transferring this Verizon iPhone to another CDMA network unless that network perhaps Sprint—decides to start authenticating Verizon's CDMA iPhones.

General Availability Comes on Feb 10th
By now you've probably heard that verizon sold out of pre order inventory of Verizon iPhones. Apple did tell me that the phone would only be available in "limited quantities" to existing Verizon customers. It's unclear what supplies will be like on the 10th. Also unknown is when, exactly, Verizon will start shipping those phones.

Verizon and AT&T 3G Are Both Fast
There's no question that AT&T's 3G network, once America's fastest mobile network is faster as verizon 3G faster when you can get it. Verizon is fast, too, and I doubt most people will notice the difference even when both networks are operating for you at peak speeds. I certainly didn't. What it comes down to is coverage. I had better coverage overall with the Verizon iPhone, which means that even if there were moments when my mobile data networK.

Your Old Bumper Won't Work
If you bought a bumper for your AT&T iPhone you may want to throw it out or leave it on the AT&T model when you pass it along to your nephew. Apple moved the volume buttons a few millimeters and the hold button a bit more. The new Universal Bumper will work on your new Verizon iPhone and the old AT&T model.

Don't Wait for iPhone 5
While there's no guarantee Apple will introduce this now much talked about vapor-phone, it's a safe bet it'll arrive this summer. That said, when it does arrive, it will be in short supply. There is also no guarantee that the iPhone 5 will launch on multiple carriers most smart phones do not. What if Apple starts.

Your PC as Fast as the Day. Your PC as Fast as the Day. Every few years we buy an expensive new PC and love how fast it starts up, runs programs, and loads websites. Inevitably though it starts to slow down until eventually we are pulling our hair out waiting for it to do routine tasks.

Why is this? It turns out the answer is actually quite simple and you don't even need to be "technical" to understand the causes and solutions. The good news: It's not the computer hardware that's the problem. In most cases, the hardware you have is perfectly capable of being restored to its original glory and kept in fast running condition with minimal effort.

Rather, the problem lies with changes that occur to the PC's software. The two most common causes of slowdown along with easy solutions are:

Every time you or your kids load a program, game, or file, your PC's software registery is updated with new instructions needed to operate that item. However, when the item is removed, these instructions usually remain on your PC. Every time you run your computer it tries to execute these instructions but, because the related program can't be found, it causes a registry error. Your PC is doing a lot more work than it should be and the result is a significantly slower computer.

One of the most frustrating things in life is a slow computer.

Every few years, we buy an expensive new PC and love how fast it starts up, runs programs, and loads websites. Inevitably though, it starts to slow down until eventually we are pulling our hair out waiting for it to do routine tasks.

The two most common causes of slowdown (along with easy solutions) are:

The most common problem: registery errors

Every time you or your kids)load a program game or file your PC's software registery is updated with new instructions needed to operate that item. However when the item is removed These instructions usually remain on your PC. Every time you run your computer it tries to execute these instructions but, because the related program can't be found it causes a registry error. Your PC is doing a lot more work than it should be and the result is a significantly slower computer.

One of the best ways to manage this is with a neat little tool from a Seattle based company called the Advance registery optimizer 2011 ARO. This program scans, identifies, and fixes registry errors--resulting in a computer that's a lot more like it was when you first bought it. On top of the amazing results it offers, it's so easy to install and use that it was recently awarded a coveted 4.5 star rating (out of 5) by CNET's editorial staff.

You can now get a free working version of the software which will quickly scan your entire PC and identify all of the registry errors that may be bogging it down. The free version eliminates the first 100 errors, and if you have more errors that you want to clean up or want to set the program to run on a regular basis. which is recommended you can easily upgrade to the full version for just $29.95. After that registry errors will no longer be a problem.

Spyware and viruses

Spyware and viruses are software programs that are loaded on your computer without your knowledge or permission. They have various purposes including:

1.Changing the default search engine in your browser.

2.Tracking your Web surfing habits and showing you targeted advertising.

3.Using your email program to send out spam to other email addresses.

4.Stealing your personal information.

Most spyware and viruses get onto our computers through files that we download from the Internet or as attachments to emails. They tend to take up a lot of computing power and as a result will significantly slow down your computer.

The simple rule of thumb to follow is to never download any free software programs from companies you do not know and trust, especially screen savers emoticons and the like. In addition, you should never open any attachment to an email unless you are 100 percent certain you know and trust the sender. In addition, make sure you have a good anti-virus spyware removal software running at all times.

Top 10 Football Coaches History of the Sports History 2011.

Advertisements
Top 10 Football Coaches 2011. Being a great coach takes a person of intellect and patience, a full knowledge of the sport, and some experience on the field. To add to this, football, as a sport, is complex. There are drills to be run, formations to create, egos to be kept in check, and budgets to be balanced. A great football coach is a kind of superman. Except instead of flying around pulling babies out of burning buildings he pacing on the sidelines and screaming profanities into a headset.

Every kid wants to throw like Joe Namath, but rare is the kid that dreams of becoming the next Bill Parcells. We think that’s a shame. So let’s salute the men who guided the greats and in doing so became greats themselves.

1. Vince Lombardi.
Lombardi’s name has become virtually synonymous with the NFL and for good reason. Lombardi was the head coach for the Green Bay Packers for most of the sixties and led the team to victory in the first two Super Bowls. Lombardi emphasized hard work and dedication. He was beloved by his players and coaching staff. His philosophy on football is still quoted today with the maxim Winning isn’t everything. It's the only thing being his most famous. He’s responsible for the concept of rule blocking which introduced the idea of the running back running towards daylight.

2.Bear Bryant. During his twenty-five years coaching the University of Alabama, Bear Bryant won six national championships and thirteen conference championships. He was an impressive man on paper, but all the more impressive in life. When he retired in 1982, he had more wins on his belt than any head coach, ever. He won the National Coach of the Year award three times – in ’61, ’71, and ’73. Enough times to have the award named in his honor. How could you argue with a man dressed in a hounds tooth hat.

3.Bill Parcells. Think Jim from The Office is the first Big. That distinction belongs to Bill Parcells who was coined so by the New England Patriots when he was the linebacker’s coach. It’s a reflection of his body type, imagine. Parcells lived up to his name the big part anyway by leading the San Francisco Giants to Super Bowl victory twice and the New England Patriots there once. In sports, you know the merit of a man by the number of times he’s coaxed out of retirement. Parcells has come out thrice.

4.Paul Brown. Paul Brown was instrumental in the formulation of the National Football League. He’s considered the father of the modern offense. So naturally, he’s a pretty big deal. On top of finding success on the high school, college, and national levels, Brown founded the Cleveland Browns and the Cincinnati Bengals franchises. If that’s not enough, he also brought the face mask, playbooks, the draw play, and year round coaching staffs to the game. He turned the sport into something big, and it’s only gotten bigger since.

5.Joe Paterno. JoPa! Beyond having a fun name to say, JoPa can take credit for having more wins than any other FBS football coach. On top of that, he’s coached more bowl games in college football history and reached 400 victories before anyone else. He’s one of only three active coaches in the College Football Hall of Fame. The BIGGEST affect JoPa has had on the sport, however, is on its officiating. JoPa has a habit of chasing down officiators. So much so, that his public criticism led to the adoption of instant replays in the Big Ten conference. That then led to almost all Division I-A conferences adopting.

6.Don Shula. Dolphins are pretty smart animals, but they’d definitely lose in a game of football against their Miami counterparts. Not just because the Miami Dolphins have hands and feet but because Don Shula was their coach. Shula led the Dolphins to Super Bowl victory twice in his 32-year career. In fact, Shula holds the distinction of being the winning-est coach there is – with an NFL record of 347 career wins. He only had two seasons with a record below .500. In a game full of misleading statistics, you really can’t argue with the simplicity.

7.Chuck Noll.
Don Shula may have the most wins of any coach in the NFL, but Chuck Noll has the most Super Bowl wins. The 69-91 Steelers were Noll’s masterpiece. He had a knack for making the perfect picks in the draft and then crafting those players into stars. Not only was he a great coach, but he also provided opportunities for African American players back when that was frowned upon.

8.Bill Walsh.
Walsh is responsible for what is generally referred to as the “West Coast Offense.” It was a system he devised for calling multiple plays at once, usually with a huge emphasis on passing. It wasn’t until Walsh coached The 49er’s including a young quarterback named Joe Montana. That the system really shined 49ers took home three Super Bowls under Walsh. It wasn’t long before other coaches adopted his method, and the West Coast Offense soon became an industry standard.

9.Tom Landry.
Any coach that creates something called the “Doomsday Defense” guarantees himself a chapter in the Book of Great Coaches. Tom Landry did just that as the coach for the Dallas Cowboys. Also known as the 4-3 defense. The Doomsday Defense consists of four down linesman and three linebackers, and was created by Landry to put a stop to Hall of Fame running back Jim Brown. But even if Landry hadn’t invented the most used defensive set-up in football He still be known for having the longest winning streak: an unbelievable twenty consecutive seasons.

10.Joe Gibbs.
Gibbs created what Steve Sabol calls. The most diverse dynasty in NFL history. Seeing as Gibbs coached the Redskins to Super Bowl Victory three times using players that had little to no success on other teams he’s right. The NFL was full of guys who needed a coach like Gibbs, and he was more than happy to supply them with the talent, wisdom, and most important hard work they needed to win. Gibbs didn’t stop with the Redskins however. He then moved into the world of Nascar winning three championships with Bobby Labonte and Tony Stewart. Gibbs proves that a good coach isn’t necessarily a reflection of his sport. Great coaches bring the best out of anyone they truly believe.

Seminole Girl Soccer 2011

Seminole blanks Gaither Girl Soccer 2011. The Seminole High girls soccer team earned a return trip to the state final four with a convincing 3-0 victory at home over Gaither in Friday's Class 5A-Region 3 championship game.

The Warhawks now battle-tested with a strong schedule and a 22-2-1 record, will face Newsome next Friday in the state semifinals at the University of Tampa's Pepin-Rood Stadium. Last year, the Warhawks lost to Melbourne in overtime of the title game.

If the Warhawks and Belvin can continue to defend while putting opponents on their heels like they did against the Cowboys (12-6-2) on Friday there's a good chance they can do just that. Almost from the outset, Seminole pressed the attack particularly with forward Sierra Lelii while closing down Gaither in midfield.

In the 20th minute, Lelii took a pass from teammate Gina Hayduke and sped down the left flank. As she did, Lelii said she noticed Cowboys goalkeeper Amanda High drifting off her line and coming toward her. So instead of crossing the ball into the box, Lelii lifted an arcing shot to the far post. The ball sailed just over High and into the goal for a 1-0 Warhawks lead.

In the second half Gaither managed to put together an improved attack and began connecting passes in the Warhawks box. But with 21:52 to play, the Cowboys were dealt a major setback when Belvin tapped in a loose ball in front of the goal.

I thought we played a lot stronger in the second half but that second goal just stunned.

Indonesia breaks RP Azkals in Suzuki Cup 2011

Indonesia breaks RP Azkals in Suzuki Cup. The Philippine Azkals paid dearly for a defensive lapse, enabling Indonesia to eke out a 1-0 win in their opening match in the Suzuki Cup semifinals at the jampacked Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta Indonesia Thursday night.

An apparent miscommunication between Pinoy goalie Neil Etheridge and fullback Ray Jonsson allowed Indon striker Cristiano Gonzales to head in the solitary goal in the 32nd minute and give the hosts the upper hand in the 2-match series.

Receiving a long cross from Oktovianus Maniani the 32-year-old naturalized Uruguayan soared and headed from 10 yards on the right wing as Etheridge who left the goal unguarded and Jonsson both tried to foil the attack.

The ball caromed off the left post and inside the net as the Indonesian crowd of 80,000, which included President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and his wife, erupted in jubilation. The outcome made the job doubly harder for the Azkals who must not only win the second match on Sunday but also score more goals for a better aggregate tally to advance to the championship round.

But the defeat was nothing to be ashamed about for the Filipino booters, who, tuning out the hostile crowd fought on even terms with their heavily favored hosts except for that costly error in the first half.

Filipino-British striker Phil Younghusband nearly scored the equalizer with a 25-yard back-to-the-goal strike in the 74th minute as Indonesian goalkeeper Markus Rihihina strayed away from the net to help out on defense.

For most of the match, however Younghusband was a closely marked man with three Indonesian players collapsing on him every time he had possession of the ball during the physical match that where both sides were awarded 2 yellow cards apiece.

James Younghusband Phil’s elder brother and skipper Aly Borromeo were slapped one each for the Filipinos while Oktovianus Maniani and Gonzales also got one for the Indonesians.

Eight minutes later, Del Rosario and Indonesian midfielder Mohammad Nasuah butted heads as both attempted to clear the ball. Nasuah a vital cog in the midfield, later returned with his head heavily bandaged.

Del Rosario also figured in an argument with Gonzales late in the second half, refusing to be bullied by the stocky striker. While the Filipinos pressed the attack at the onset of the second half in a bid to equalize they lost steam in the middle of it and allowed the Indonesians to control the ball the rest of the way.

Unlike their previous rivals, the Indonesians had scouted the Filipinos well and were ready for the visitors vaunted counterattacks. With the AFF not implementing the away-goals rule, the Azkals can win the tie and advance to the final if they defeat the Indonesians by at least 2 goals in the second leg.

The Filipino next semifinal game against the Indonesians will also take place at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium.

Ohio Celebrates a Game of Foot Ball 2011

Ohio Celebrates a Game of Foot Ball 2011. On May 3, 1890, a group of Ohio State students rose early, boarded their horse-drawn wagons and made the 20-mile trip along. the Olentangy River from Columbus to Delaware the home of Ohio Wesleyan University to play what that day’s Delaware Gazette described. The first game of Rugby foot ball.

Ohio State and Ohio Wesleyan now occupy opposite ends of the college football spectrum. The Buckeyes, whose Columbus campus has an enrollment in excess of 52,000, play in a stadium that seats more than 100,000 and field a team of players.

The Battling Bishops, who draw from a student body of 1,850, play in a stadium less than a tenth the size and offer no football scholarships. But the universities’ football programs began together on that spring morning 118 years ago.

The site of that first game was a mystery until last year, when Dick Gordin a former Ohio Wesleyan athletic director who has studied the history of the university’s sports teams uncovered a letter written by one player in that 1890 game, describing the playing field near a creek called Delaware Run. This weekend, Ohio Wesleyan has scheduled a ceremony to install a historical marker at the site, with dignitaries from both universities attending.

The teams played for the final time in 1932, when Ohio State won 34-7, ending the series with 26-2-1 advantage. By then the Buckeyes were playing Michigan and Wisconsin, and the Battling Bishops were playing Wittenberg and DePauw.

The two schools both started out as Midwest football powers in the late 19th century, early 20th century,” Roger Ingles the athletic director at Ohio Wesleyan, said. The first game that Ohio State ever played was at Ohio Wesleyan and we were the first visiting team to play at Ohio Stadium in 1922. A lot of our past has been intertwined.

At that first game in 1890 the ball was round forward passes were outlawed touchdowns were worth 4 points and goals after touchdown worth 2. Wedges plays in which players locked elbows and ran into each other en masse often causing serious injuries were commonplace.

It was big enough that an estimated 700 people attended watching from a hill overlooking the field. Ohio State won 20-14, with four touchdowns and two goals after for the men of Columbus against three touchdowns and one goal after for the home team.

The Delaware Gazette reported afterward. The game was a spirited one and from the interest aroused it is safe to say that foot ball has taken a firm hold upon both students and citizens.

Chinese New Year Celebration

Chinese New Year Celebration . Stands out as the most important with the conventional Chinese holidays. The Chinese New year is celebrated over a very first day of the First Moon on the lunar calendar.

The corresponding date during the solar calendar varies from as early as January 21st to as late as February 19th. Chinese New Year, as the Western new Year signified turning on the new leaf.

Socially it was a time for loved ones reunions, and for visiting buddies and relatives. Chinese lanterns had been traditionally employed for almost 2,000 years. The lanterns are typically made from paper, supported by a frame that incorporates a holder at the base to your solid fuel heat source.

This holiday, over any other Chinese holiday, stressed the significance of family members ties. The Chinese New year’s Eve dinner gathering was among one of the most crucial family occasions in the year.

Chinese New Year Celebration is celebrated in countries and territories with important Chinese populations, such as Mainland China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Vietnam, and also in Chinatowns elsewhere.

Some European countries, for instance Austria and Germany, have already banned the lanterns but you’ll find currently no restrictions in force in Britain. The lanterns can result in a safety risk to aircraft if the lanterns get sucked into the aircraft’s engine.
