Waiting for the end of the world May 21 2011

Waiting for the end of the world May 21 2011. The headquarters of Harold Camping's Family Radio, devoted in the last few years to warning that the End will come on 6 p.m., May 21, 2011, is deserted when the time comes.

It's 10 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on Friday night on the industrial strip where Family Radio is based, flanked by a sushi joint and a palm reading place. A few doors down is a prosperous looking business called weGrow, which describes itself as the first full service hydroponic superstore. Down the street is the Coliseum ballpark, home of the Oakland A's, who are across the bay in San Francisco tonight before a crowd of thousands who decided to spend their final Friday night watching the A's take on the Giants.

Camping the octogenarian numerologist whose calculations spawned a worldwide movement (of indeterminate size) devoted to warning non-believers to prepare for the return of Christ, or else recently told a reporter that the end of the world would begin at exactly 6 p.m. on May 21 in each time zone around the globe. That means the end should be beginning right about now in the South Pacific archipelago of Tonga, where it's 6 p.m., May 21, 2011.

Here's what's supposed to be happening, according to Camping's website:

"A great earthquake will occur the Bible describes it as 'such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.' This earthquake will be so powerful it will throw open all graves. The remains of the all the believers who have ever lived will be instantly transformed into glorified spiritual bodies to be forever with God."

I check the U.S. Geological Survey's up to the minute tracker of worldwide earthquakes over magnitude 5.0. A few hours ago, a 5.1 quake hit in the south Sandwich Islands region off South America, but there's nothing recent near Tonga.

WWE Macho Man Randy Savage dead in Car Crash

WWE Macho Man Randy Savage dead in Car Crash. He was only 58 years old when he died, but legendary 1980s WWF turned modern-day WWE wrestler Macho Man Randy Savage is dead thanks to a tree and a car crash is a true rumor. The Florida resident known for his flamboyant schtick on the professional wrestling circuit and his celebrity endorsement of the food product SLIM JIM died in May of 2011 in a tragic car accident.

Randy “Macho Man” Savage, was known for what many are calling a larger-than-life personality. During the 1980s, the professional wrestler offered crowds a spectacular view of his signature professional wrestling moves like his aerial spectacular flying-elbow.

His raspy voice and flamboyant spandex wardrobe that could mae even rock star David Lee Roth envious of his wardrobe closet was memorable enough but when you mix brash style and bravado with a beautiful sidekick, then you have the professional wrestling world eating out of your hands like they are drinking beer from a cup.

Macho Man Randy Savage had a young woman named Miss Elizabeth who often was his arm piece ringside and during celebrity smackdown interviews. [She was actually his former wife in real life, but is also no longer alive thanks to a drug overdose that took the pretty WWF darling's life.]

Under public records for the legal name Randy Mario Poffo is where you can find more information about the death of the wrestling star.

The Florida Highway Patrol car crash report from officers said the former wrestler was driving a Jeep Wrangler when he lost control in Pinellas County around 9:25 a.m. According to the report, the out of control Jeep veered over the raised concrete median divider, crossed over the eastbound lanes and then crashed head-on into a tree, killing Macho Man Randy Savage.

Why the Jeep went speeding out of control is a question for the coroner to answer, as Police said he may have suffered a “medical event” before the accident. However, the Police report (rightly) did not elaborate. The FHP simply indicated officials would need to perform an autopsy to determine the cause of the crash for sure, as no signs of mechanical failure of the 4×4 were readily apparent and there were no indications about a road hazard that would have caused the Jeep to swerve.

To that end, rumor mills that share sports news and other entertainment journals will likely be following up the celebrity death story with close attention.

Also in the car accident with Macho Man Randy Savage was Barbara L. Poffo, age 56. She was Randy Poffo’s current wife and fortunately suffered only minor injuries in the crash.

Both Randy and his wife were wearing seat belts which likely saved her life and may have saved his had there been no other medical issues complicating the situation.

So the lesson in this sad celebrity death of Macho Man Randy Savage?

Buckle up “Oooh Yeah!”

Regarding his death, wrestler and celebrity friend Hulk Hogan wrote, “He had so much life in his eyes & in his spirit, I just pray that he’s happy and in a better place and we miss him.” The two men are both well-known for being true gentlemen in their local Florida communities as residents, getting involved in charitable civic products, helping serve as role models for youth, and promoting athleticism.

Super Natural Season 7 in 2011

Super Natural Season 7 in 2011. Supernatural season 6 finale, which will be aired tonight (20-05) and CW officially renewed the Supernatural series. It means you can still watch Winchester brothers on Supernatural season 7.

Returning for its seventh season, this haunting series follows Sam and Dean Winchester, two brothers bound by tragedy and blood to the one thing that runs through both their veins hunting monsters.

This past season, Dean and Sam faced insurmountable obstacles: Sam returned from Hell without his soul, and Dean risked everything to get it back for him. The power struggle between good and evil raged on, with the new King of Hell, Crowley, ultimately emerging as their adversary.

Shockingly, Crowley had made a secret deal with Sam and Dean’s closest friend, the angel Castiel, who is now a desperate freedom fighter on the losing side of a post-Apocalyptic civil war in Heaven; together, the uneasy allies sought to open a door to Purgatory, where a great untapped well of souls lie waiting to be used as the ultimate form of military power.

Sam and Dean reeled from the betrayal by their friend and raced to stop the angel and demon before they opened that dangerous, otherworldly door. Now, in season seven, the Winchesters will find themselves in an increasingly sinister, changing landscape, up against a new foe unlike anything they’ve ever fought.

They’ll find their old tricks, weapons and hiding places all rendered useless. All they’ll have is each other. And the certainty that, like the last of the cowboy outlaws, whatever they face, they’re not going down without a fight.

The series stars Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester, Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester and Misha Collins as Castiel.
